Since 2006, Shawn has lectured and presented at numerous universities and conferences, including his most recent appearances at the Midwest Clinic and Texas Music Educators Association.  More recently, he has expanded his availability into retreat leadership, faculty enrichment, continuing education, and keynote addresses on a variety of topics, which include Musician’s Wellness, Injury Prevention and recovery, Embodiment, Safety, and Belonging, as well as Entrepreneurship,  and general workshops on Alexander Technique, Body Mapping, and Energy Work.

His upcoming bookings for 2025 include the University of Houston, Texas Christian University, College Music Society, Clarinetfest 2025, Association of Body Mapping Educator’s Biannual Conference and the Association of Percussion Pedagogy Conference.
